Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort

Recently, my wife and I were looking for a little getaway that wouldn’t cost a lot and wouldn’t be too far away. We decided to use DVC points and visit Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort. This resort cost us 30 points for three nights in the low season, and was a relatively-short 11-hour drive from home. (There’s a dog employed as a Cast Member at this resort.)

My biggest reservations about this resort were two-fold: 1. Would it be Disney enough? 2. What was it like? As for question one, most people online fall into one of two camps: “it’s wonderful and relaxing and has Disney touches and service!” or “this place is awful and boring and has nothing to do with Disney.” I hoped to be in camp one. As for question two, there is a dearth of QUALITY pictures of this resort online. I hope to fix that with the 275+ pics in this post. As for camp two – y’all are crazy! There’s so much to do at this resort, and it’s absolutely covered in Disney touches and has service bested only by DCL, in my opinion. (There’s a dog employed as a Cast Member at this resort.)

I hope this post helps excite you to visit Disney’s HHI Resort. There will be other posts about the rest of our trip – a historic, burned-down church, the Biltmore Estate, and lots of food soon. For now, enjoy the five galleries below and click on any pic for a caption. (There’s a dog employed as a Cast Member at this resort.)
